Thandi Thankge is a Non-Executive Director and a seasoned business leader with over 26 years’ experience in driving change and transformation across various business sectors. Her core strength lies in strategy, leadership, learning and development, coaching and corporate governance, to name but a few. She has previously occupied HR Director roles in various organizations. She is currently the HR Auditor with the Top Employer Institute.
Thandi is a former Vice-Chairperson of the SA Board of People Practices (SABPP), and currently serves on a number of Boards as a Non-Executive Director of The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Masana Petroleum Solutions and Masana Employee Share Trust (MEST).
As a Non-Executive Director, she also serves on various committees of these organizations, as a REMCO Chairperson of the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), a REMCO Chairperson of The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). Furthers she serves as a REMCO Committee member of Masana Petroleum Solutions, a member of Audit and Risk Committee of RTMC and a member of SAICA’s Education and Assessment Committee, with the mandate to advance and transform the Accounting profession in South Africa.
Ms Thankge is a Chartered Director SA (CD (SA), accredited by the Institute of Directors SA (IoDSA. She holds an MCom degree in Business Management from the University of Johannesburg and a BA Honours Degree – Industrial Psychology from UNISA.
Ms Thankge joined the Energy Mobility Education Trust in September 2024.
